My name is Rebeca LLusco Calani. I live in the district Pampa in San Miguel. I am 19 years old. My family consists of four people. One baby died at birth. Her name would have been Victoria. My father’s name is Benedicto LLusco. He is 55 years of age. My mother is called Isidora Calani Condori. She is also 55 years old. I have an older brother. His name is Samuel LLusco Calani and he is 23 years old.
I want to study Haute Couture so I can support my parents financially in future. Especially when they are too old to work themselves. They always helped and supported me so I could go to school. I’m aware that they always worked hard to give us everything we needed. I am very grateful and love them very much. I would like to be with them forever.
Unfortunately my brother Samuel did not finish secondary school. He is working as a mechanic now. He is still thinking about finishing secondary school. He isn’t married yet, nor has a girlfriend. If he decides to go back to school I will help him.
The name of the school I visited is Atiy. I always had really good grades. I like playing volleyball, reading an drawing. When I finish my study Haute Couture I would like to start my own sewing studio and teach people how to sew.
I thank the Tristan Foundation for giving me the opportunity to study Haute Couture. This is a big support for me and my family. I will attend school with lots of commitment.
